Industry Mentor Feedback
First Meeting
Date: 21th March 2019 (Week 3, Studio 2)
Industry Mentor: Stephen Healy
Comments:
- Double check if anyone is already doing it
- Search on the data needed and check if there are all available
- The idea is very powerful but needs to differentiate with other similar ideas
Second Meeting
Date: 11th April 2019 (Week 6 Thu, Studio 2)
Industry Mentor: Stephen Healy
Comments:
- Avoid static solution and try to add more value
- The solution is largely based on assumption e.g. research: the actual way that charity collecting food
- Suggestion: a) click and shared in Facebook b) optimization process (schedule, fairness)
- Using diagram when explaining our solution
- Mainly focus on the execution when discussing new ideas
Third Meeting
Date: 6th May 2019 (Week 9 Mon, Studio 1)
Industry Mentor: Stephen Healy
Comments:
- too many numbers in the info page, and need to make a story, which is very important
- gallery movement was not nice; homepage button is good; mission could smaller
- more confirm information or acknowledgment like "Thank you for your donation", "We appreciate very much"; the idea is to tell user what happens next
- the charity map need to tell the user what the blow means
About our team
Guardians of Melbourne always thought about making Melbourne the most liveable city in the world. We tried to analyse the reason behind Melbourne's slip in the ranking after about seven years. While looking for the reason, we came across a lot of problems including population and transport. But the one that affected our entire team was the problem of food wastage across the city as the whole.
